After being here for a year, and looking at my empty bar, we decided it was time for a stock up. I picked up some Hendricks Gin at Heathrow last time and we added some Martini Bianco, Captain Morgan, local vodka, Baileys and a few mixers. I even managed to find some Angostura Bitters.

Dasha invited Ira and Shenya over for dinner - we cooked baked salmon, baked pototoes, salad - and before we knew our first bottle of vino was gone (Clarky you have some competition on the guzzling stakes). Politics, fashion (lack of), cameras, Macs vs PC’s, the crisis and all many of things were covered as another two bottles were knocked over. Before we knew it “Flight of the Conchords” was on the box, the Hendricks was out and I had two drinks in my hand - the other a Captain Morgan and coke.

Needless to say - we were both dusty the next - nothing a good bit of Kiev tort couldn’t fix though. What crisis?

btw. dynamo kiev lost the second leg 3-2 but went through on away goals. shaktar donetsk also went through so there is a possibility for an all Ukraine UEFA cup final if they win their semi’s.

btw: we have had our budgets confirmed so we are here to stay. even got a little bonus for last year as well - thank god.
