Another special day in Ukraine - the religious festival of “pancake day”. The weather was amazing, fresh snow, clear blue skies and so we took off for a walk, to track down some pancakes.

The photo above is where we found them - in a Ukrainian restaurant called O’Panac in Taras Chevchenko Park - 15 minutes walk from our place.

We walked through the park and then down onto Kreshatyk St to see what protest activity was about. A few tents were pitched, equiped with fire’s and firewood - ready for a long stakeout. We expect a lot of this as it warms up - especially with the continuing poor decision making and issues between the factions that keep impacting the people. It could be very interesting this summer.

The rest of the week has been usual with the focus on new product development - we launch a new deposit product soon so we are all focusing on that to forget the crisis.
