Dr. Bogomolets
Things are certainly hotting up here and we’re down to to shirts only. My cold is a persistent little bugger as well - even a game of squash didn’t kill it!
Had a wondrous experience Friday night when I met one of Dasha’s friends from Krivoy Rog - they knew more about kiwi’s and Te Reo Māori than me! Caught me by surprise but it turned out that she loves to study many things - including culture of far away lands.
Dr Bogomolets is a renowned Kiev dermatologist - I have been to see then to get rid of a couple of annoying verruca’s that I have had for the last 3 years. They have withstood several nitrogen sessions in Australia so a new strategy was required. The medical techniques developed in the Soviet Union were in many cases more advanced than ours - and less influenced by the pharmaceutical industry. You can find some pretty effective techniques and the one I have found at Dr.B’s is amazing.... and it works. So in short, I have had nitrogen injected into my foot to that it froze the entire core and its blistered from the inside out. In 4 days I get to pop it but I have to hobble around with a golf ball size blister til then. Its worth the effort though as this will be the end of a very annoying issue.
Thats probably enough detail - last night we had an impromptu concert on the corner of our street - jazz, blues. Very strange place to have it and you can see from the picture above that there wasn’t too many places for the crowd to stand. Pretty good music though but shortly after the photo it rained and blew a gale so the crowd went to the nearest pub.
Work is starting to move along again now as we are 1 week from closing the clients.... much more fun now that we can start to execute the closing process. No news on my next role yet either but hope to hear something from ING over the next week or so.
