officially closed to clients

This week was the final week for our clients. As of Friday we have now closed all client outlets, internet banking and sales services. Some customers hadn’t closed all of their accounts so we have scooped the remaining balances into a holding account so that they can come and collect over the next year. For legal reasons, we will have leave a small team here to sort that out but we have another business here which will house them so all good. It was good to start the real closing tasks now so things will move pretty fast without customers in the mix.

Still a very sad milestone though as we no longer have a pulse in our outlets (above) and we’re now heading into shutting down all the services at HQ. It still remains difficult as we slowly shut down different things.

Had a big night watching the Champions League final at an Irish Pubs called - yes - O’Briens. Great to see Barca win - awesome football.

This weekend we’re off to the Crimean Peninsula for a long weekend and a look at a secret sub base at Balaklava - should be cool! Impossible to see from the open sea, it was a cold war sub base thats now been opened for tours. Check it out at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balaklava

Will be nice to get some sun and relax in a stunning part of Ukraine. Stay tuned for a good update next week!
