An interesting week on the work front. We had a nice surprise on Thursday afternoon with a protest action set up on the front doorstep. The picture above pretty much covers it - very amateur.

These guys provide outsourced protest services - I hope they weren’t paid too much as it was pretty pathetic all told and lasted about 2 hours. This group were protesting some unethical behaviour by our team in closing down the business here. We’re not sure why so we’ll see how it develops.... tis the time for protests here though. Nice business they have.

Check out the press and we also have a very funny hand bag throwing incident with the security manager of our building - he didn’t make himself look good!

Things keep progressing here though which is great - looking good for September.

Other news - my Mojito recipe is coming along nicely and Dasha is a wizz on the Cosmopolitans. Its bloody hot here and I have to say - too hot. 36 degs and humidity that is even too much for mushrooms to grow.

Its still fantastic being engaged and we’re well into the visa and document process. We may get hitched here to get the right documents from the Ukrainian authorities here while we are still here but we’ll see. Don’t panic though - its not the real wedding! We’ll be standing in a queue for 3 hours and for sure Elvis won’t be officiating!

Well champs - will keep you posted on plans. Off to Romania next and a stay at Dracula’s castle. Oh dear.
